Examiners

The Examiners Panel was constituted as a crucial part of BEP in the recognition that the examination bodies in the UK play a significant role in the education sector and the implementation of AI in education. The panel consists of key figures from the education exam boards (awarding bodies) in the UK. Its role is to provide expertise and insights into how AI is influencing exam board thinking while also serving as a body receptive to the ideas and suggestions of the other panels.

The panel will offer advice, foster dialogue between the examination bodies and the other panels and help shape the strategic direction of AI integration into assessment processes.

Scope

The Examiners Panel’s scope extends to providing insights and guidance on AI’s influence on examination bodies’ thinking and operational strategies. It will also serve as a conduit for the perspectives of the other panels, ensuring that their ideas and suggestions influence examination bodies’ views.
