Michele Miller

Learning and Leadership Consultant, Schools Alliance for Excellence (SAfE)

In November 2022 we became aware of ChatGPT. Six months later, ChatGPT is one of over 3000 AI (Artificial Intelligence) applications that have the power to transform how we work in schools. In SAfE’s fifth Heads Up podcast conversation, Michele Miller considers the challenge and opportunity for educationalists to understand, embrace and channel the power of Artificial Intelligence. In conversation with Surrey school leaders Cheryl Shirley (Director of Computing and Digital skills, LEO Academy trust), Chris Goodall (Digital Lead for Bourne Education Trust) and Gavin Govinden (Headteacher, Furzefield Primary School), Michele explores the gains to be made; engaging all children and young people in learning, delivering precise personalised programmes of learning, reducing staff workload and potentially narrowing the disadvantage gap.
