This report is the collation of information gathered from the fourth 'Hands-on' series event, the third of the 2024/25 academic year, with a focus on LEADERSHIP, held in April 2025.

The event provided school and college leaders with the opportunity to interact with AI specialists and fellow educators, to focus on three areas:

1. To develop a strategic framework for safe AI adoption and understand the educational rationale behind implementation decisions.

2. To explore practical leadership tasks with AI while addressing compliance

considerations and potential challenges.

3. To create comprehensive action plans for responsible AI implementation that consider ethical implications and stakeholder needs.

Following an introduction to the potential and associated risks of AI in the educational sector and practical guidance on how to use the selected various AI platforms, 3 bespoke sessions provided school and college leaders with the opportunity to use AI to support the development, exploration and creation of frameworks and action plans. Throughout the day,

participants were able to engage in feedback sessions to address compliance concerns, share insights on avoiding potential pitfalls and develop best practices for responsible AI adoption.
