Cornerstone Primary - AI as an attendance critical thinking partner
Cornerstone Primary School has developed an AI‐supported attendance critical thinking partner that brings together key policies, guidance and safeguarding documents to help staff analyse complex attendance cases. Using NotebookLM and Copilot, the Inclusion Team can rapidly synthesise trusted sources, explore next steps and strengthen decision‐making without using any personal data. This human‐led approach saves significant time, enabling staff to focus on families, professional judgement and early intervention. The tool has improved confidence, consistency and knowledge across the team, supporting clearer conversations with parents and faster, well‐informed actions to help children re‐engage with education.
Broadmere Primary - Festival of AI
In January 2026, Broadmere and New Monument Primary School partnered with The Grange Festival to deliver an exciting "Festival of AI." Running as two-hour workshops over five days for Years 3–6, pupils explored the intersection of creativity and technology. By using drama, music and performance alongside emerging AI tools, students developed and presented original creative projects. As a pilot, the festival offered a brilliant model for how schools can explore AI creatively, laying the groundwork for future projects that connect technology with imagination and human-led learning.
