An ambitious college student, seamlessly fused various AI tools such as Midjourney, Skybox, Canva, and ThingLink to craft an immersive 3-month interactive Bible study course. This case study delves into her journey, showcasing her inventive use of technology to overcome challenges, whilst also emphasising the pivotal role of experimentation and adaptability in deriving maximum value from AI platforms.

Note: The students was aged 18 and therefore able to access platforms which otherwise may prohibit use or pose risks to younger students.

In her pursuit to design a captivating Bible study course, the student faced the challenge of sourcing the perfect images. Unwilling to compromise, she turned to an array of AI-driven tools:

Midjourney: This platform was instrumental for the student, allowing her to render detailed images of Biblical personalities and serene landscapes. Through diligent self-learning, she mastered its features to create accurate depictions.

Skybox: Serving as a canvas for the ancient world, Skybox granted the student the power to generate immersive 360° environments, such as ancient temples and Biblical terrains.

Canva: An essential design companion, the student integrated the images from Midjourney into Canva's vast array of templates, culminating in a welcoming user interface and chapter designs.

ThingLink: The final piece in the student's technological jigsaw. Hosting her elaborate Guided Tour, ThingLink ensured that her content was not only engaging but also accessible to all users.

The amalgamation of these AI tools empowered the student to rapidly construct customised, high-calibre imagery tailored to her course. By smartly utilising technology, she was able to transcend typical constraints and channel her energies into refining the course's narrative and create a more immersive user experience.

The scenario in this case study is genuine and based upon real events and data, however its narration has been crafted by AI to uphold a standardised and clear format for readers.

Key Learning

The student leveraged multiple AI tools, each serving a unique purpose, to create customised imagery for her Bible study course.

Mastery of AI platforms allowed the student to depict accurate and immersive Biblical scenarios and environments.

Effective integration of these tools streamlined the course design process, enabling the student to focus on enhancing the narrative and user experience.

Risks

Age consents: Students must be the appropriate age to adhere to application terms and conditions.

Copyright and Legal Concerns: AI-generated imagery might inadvertently tread into copyrighted territories, warranting careful license checks and proper attributions.

Ethical Quandaries: Undetected biases in AI platforms might result in inappropriate content, emphasising the need for consistent monitoring and rectification.
